Thank you, voters of Hancock County. On May 7, you overwhelmingly demonstrated your confidence in the work we do here at Blanchard Valley Center by passing our 2.5-mil, five-year renewal levy. In doing so, you will provide more than $4 million annually to help in our mission to support Hancock residents with developmental disabilities. The levy passed by a margin of more than 72 percent of the vote. In a word, that is awesome!
“We are so appreciative of the citizens of Hancock County for the continuing support they have shown for Blanchard Valley Center and the work we do on behalf of our citizens with developmental disabilities,” said Kelli Grisham, Superintendent of the Hancock County Board of Developmental Disabilities. “We have enjoyed loyal support from the voters. I believe we receive that support because we have been good stewards of their tax dollars and they see the hard work performed every day by our dedicated staff.
