At Blanchard Valley Center we coordinate volunteer efforts, offering the people we support many opportunities to contribute and give back to their community. Our Aktion Club participates in various service projects throughout Hancock County. Over the years, they have been a part of the Backyard Mission Trip, the United Way Days of Caring, and Habitat for Humanity, to name a few. To find out more about Aktion Club, contact Denise Roush, Quality Services Director.
We’ve sent volunteers to churches, schools, craft shows, Friends of BVS events, and businesses in our community that need temporary help.
Blanchard Valley Center also looks for volunteers to help internally with our programs and supports and more than appreciates those people willing to step forward. We often need volunteers from our community to help with events and classroom activities.
If you’re ready to be a Volunteer in any capacity, please get in touch with us to discuss opportunities.
