Normal Work Hours:  8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday   Special Events on Evenings or Weekends occasionally required.

    • Full Time Teaching Position

    • We are looking for a Dynamic Teacher to work at Blanchard Valley School- Junior classroom starting the 16-17 school year.

      Provides excellent leadership by focusing on Blanchard Valley Center’s mission.  Insures individuals and their families receive exceptional customer services and achieve the outcomes they need/want.  Works with other members of the staff to achieve the BVC mission and vision.  Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with all constituencies. 

      Teacher of students with  developmental disabilities in providing instruction and/or educational programming for school age students; assesses student needs and develops IEP's; conducts individual and group activities; escorts students to and from classrooms and on field trips; assists students with motor development, socialization, self-maintenance, communication, etc.

      Pay range is based on Union contract and dependent on education and experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision and life insurance and STRS retirement system.

      Applicant must have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree and must possess or be able to obtain ODE certification and demonstrate progress towards Intervention Specialist licensure if not already obtained. Must have a valid OH driver’s license and be insurable per company policy. Must be able to pass physical, drug screen and background check.

    All positions require High School Diploma/GED, a valid Ohio Driver License with acceptable driving record, Ability to pass physical and drug screen and have a clean background verified by a BCI/FBI check.
