Contact Number: 419-423-2374
Transportation Coordinator: Edie Farson
We here in the transportation department ask that if your “bus rider” is not going to be on the bus, please give us a call at 423-2374 and let us know. If you get the main menu asking for an extension, push 1405. We also ask that if your “bus rider” has been off and will start riding again, please call us about that as well. The bus will not stop if you do not call.
Did you know that statistically speaking, school buses are the safest vehicle on the road? Our drivers are trained by the Ohio Department of Education and are required to attend in-service training annually.
We recently began using VANS also to transport some
individuals to BVC. Maybe you have seen them on the
road. They are especially noticeable now, since we
had beautiful decals put on all of them that display our new logo here

A fleet comprised of eleven buses and eleven vans provides safe and reliable transportation to eligible individuals helping them access needed services and supports at Blanchard Valley Center and in the community.
All vehicles are maintained on-grounds by a qualified mechanic and must pass annual inspections administered by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Transportation Department operates ten routes on a daily basis, covering every corner of Hancock County , bringing individuals to Blanchard Valley Industries and Blanchard Valley School.
Transportation is also provided to many special outings such as Special Olympics events, field trips, and other activities in the community.
