Getting Started

Contact the Director of Residential Services and fill out an application. This will place you on the waiting list. When a vacancy occurs, the person highest on the waiting list has the first opportunity to fill this vacancy. A team from Blanchard Valley Residential assists the new resident in developing a plan to meet their needs.

Eligibility

Our residential services staff will arrange for a level of care assessment to determine if an individual is eligible for services through Blanchard Valley Residential Services, [an Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF)]. The assessment addresses an individual's needs with activities of daily living and behaviors. The medical needs and concerns of each individual also are assessed.
